We are excited to invite you to a fundraising event to support a Henry County Officer injured in the line of duty. On April 4th, 2019, Officer Merritt was shot while serving the residents of Henry County.The bullet caused severe damage to his dominant hand. The doctors have been able to reconstruct his hand through surgery, but it is a long road to recovery. He is now going to physical therapy and is unable to work at this time. We want to come together to help this family in their time of need.
Officer Merritt not only served our community as a police officer and SWAT Operator, but he is also a three time U.S. Army Combat War Vet. Before being injured, he went out everyday to protect our community. Let's show All First Responders our appreciation by coming out to support OFC. Merritt!
