Do you know about Greer?
I found out about her from her Aunt Lynn last year the night it happened. Lynn and I have been friends for years. Read her story below from her mom, Shannon. If you feel compelled to make a donation...fantastic. If not...prayers are always welcome.
On October 8, 2012, the inevitable happened. Our then, 5-year-old daughter, Greer sustained a severe injury after being kicked in the head by a horse. She laid lifeless in the pasture suffering from a large laceration, numerous facial fractures and soft tissue damage, and bleeding on the brain. Miraculously after being prepped for months of in-patient therapies, and her lack of ability to verbally communicate, Greer was discharged from T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital at Erlanger a mere 10 days following her initial admittance! She was walking and talking on her own will! With this said, NEVER before have I felt so strongly about the power of prayer and these organizations and/or people. We have become quite the spokespersons for all the above mentioned organizations. Google "Greer Cofield" to see for yourself.
We pray you will find it in your hearts to sponsor us in a 5k Race with ALL proceeds benefiting Children's Hospital Foundation. The race will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 9 at the 6th Calvary Museum in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
No sponsorship is too great or small for how He has BLESSED us!
