BLAKE SHELTON told "People" that Valentine's Day is NOT a guy's holiday . . . and that's why it sucks.  He added, quote, "I'm one of those guys that's like, 'Oh [crap].  It's Valentine's Day.  I better get flowers or something.'"

Blake’s co host for the ACM’s, Luke Bryan, doesn’t hate the holiday quite as much… he’s got big plans with his wife.  He says, "We're just gonna have a nice dinner, grab a hotel room. We come into downtown and kind of treat Nashville like a little mini, one-night vacation. Her biggest thing, she's like, 'All I wanna do is be able to sleep in one morning,' so that's her Valentine's present."
