Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will team up to host the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards.  This will make Blake’s third time hosting the show – and Luke’s first, after Reba’s exit was announced last year.  The 48^th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards is scheduled for April 7^th in Las Vegas.

Now that the NHL lockout is coming to an end, Carrie Underwood is getting ready to see her husband back in action!  After all, Carrie is Mike’s #1 fan!

Brantley Gilbert and Chris Young will make cameos in an upcoming episode of the hit TV series Nashville.  They’ll play themselves as party-goers attending an industry party.  You can check them out two weeks from tonight at 10 PM on ABC.

Justin Moore’s current single, “Til My Last Day”, helped him reflect on some things he’d like to accomplish in his lifetime.  Justin admits that winning awards used to be a big deal to him - but now - he thinks the greates accomplishment would be to get inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

Tim McGraw’s former label, Curb Records will release a compilation disc titled Tim McGraw & Friends.  The album will feature duets from Tim and some of his pals including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lionel Richie, Faith Hill and Colt Ford.  You can grab it exclusively at Wal-Mart on January 22^nd.  Tim’s new album on Big Machine Records will be called Two Lanes of Freedom and hits stores February 5^th.
