Guy Charged With Stealing Gold Teeth
Colorado father accused of pawning gold teeth he took from cremated remains at several funeral homes claims he did it to provide for his eight children, police said.
Police said Adrian David Kline also swiped gold crowns from corpses before they were embalmed, the Times Call newspaper reported Tuesday.
The 43-year-old worked part-time at funeral homes in several cities, including Canon City and Lakewood, police said.
It is regular practice for funeral homes to collect the metals left behind after bodies are cremated and recycle them.
Police said Kline sifted through the ashes and removed the gold teeth he would find. He then cleaned them and brought them to several different pawn shops.

WE’RE RUNNING OUT OF WINE!
A global wine shortage is coming!
Seems people in the U.S. and China are drinking more than ever – a lot more – and vineyards just can’t keep up with the demand.
According to Morgan Stanley, the wine industry is under-supplied by roughly 300 million cases a year − which is the worst dry spell in 50 years.
Making matters worse is the fact that top wine-making countries like France, Spain and Italy are producing less because of land issues, harvest problems and bad weather.
And even scarier … the shortage means the cost of wine will go up.Looks like they’ll be calling it “5 Buck Chuck” soon … (NY Post)
If you’re in the first wives’ club, get ready to get angry. According to a British study, men spend about $2,000 more on the engagement ring for wife number two.
Seems the guys are willing to shell out more dough because they “have more faith in the security of the marriage” the second time around. Yeah, that’s it …
The study, which was commissioned by an online jeweler, by the way, found that 92 percent of the guys pay for the ring themselves, with just 7 percent saying they split the cost of the ring with their fiancée. (Daily Mail)
